  • Louise Arnold

    Louise Arnold

Louise was born and raised in Yorkshire, UK. She is a bit of a well-travelled (and well-heeled) HR professional who has also lived in Colorado, London, Brisbane and Sydney before finally making it to New Zealand’s shores in 2015. Luckily for us she has happily settled here with her partner and dog (please see Dogs of TP for Bowie’s bio).

The majority of Louise’s career has been in HR in the Hotel industry where she has worked in Senior HR roles. Her work brought her into contact with the HR technology industry and then Tomorrow’s People, both of which became her focus.

Fast forward a few years, moving jobs to gain experience in HR tech software and working in an agile Telco organisation, Louise was ready to make her move. Her role is that of Project Manager where she oversees various projects and works with our clients to ensure the best outcomes.

Louise’s interests range from DIY gardening, doggie walks, paddle boarding the Eastern beaches, bingeing on great TV series and shoes.

  • Ollie Sutherland

    Ollie Sutherland

At Tomorrow’s People, Ollie is eager to further develop his skillset and continue to grow into his role as a Technical Support Consultant. Ollie combines his empathetic people skills with his love of learning new technologies in this role. He also has an awesome beard.

Outside of work, Ollie enjoys fishing, watching/playing football and having a laugh with friends and family.

  • Aleisha Millington

    Aleisha Millington

Aleisha grew up in Taranaki and is now based in the Manawatu. Spent 7 years working in the electricity distribution sector and the past 8 years in transmission, working as a LMS system specialist for Transpower, utilising the Cornerstone system. Aleisha has a passion for systems and learning new things and working out why things work, and even more excitingly, why things don't work and how to fix them. Sharing knowledge and supporting others to succeed is hugely rewarding for her.

Aleisha is married to Steve and has a 20-year-old son. She has worked remotely for two years and shares her office with 3 needy cats and a dog.

A perfect weekend is time spent with her husband and friends, and if it's warm enough, getting out on her pink Harley for a ride to one of the many local cafes. She loves travelling, with Las Vegas and Melbourne being favourite spots. Latest hobbies include trying new cocktails and visiting areas of NZ for the first time.

  • Sarah Bateup

    Sarah Bateup

Sarah was born and raised in Waikato, and has spent the majority of her life working and living in and around Hamilton.

Sarah completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology at the University of Waikato, before embarking on a career in Human Resources. She brings with her over 15 years experience in a range of generalist HR, Recruitment, Organisational Development and Project roles, and is an experienced workshop facilitator. She deepened her interest in HR Tech Solutions, while implementing Cornerstone in a previous organisation, and developed strong technical knowledge in the system. She has a real passion for problem solving, and working out how technology can support great process and outcomes. Sarah expands our remote contingent, but being based out of the mighty Waikato will be a semi-regular visitor to our Ponsonby office.

Outside of work hours, Sarah is kept busy with her gorgeous two young boys and a cat named Ruby. She loves to stay active, often joining friends for workouts in the park (with kids in tow), or heading into the bush for a hill climb. A social creature, you’ll often find her enjoying a good wine with good friends. At the end of a busy day, there’s nothing she loves more than getting stuck into a challenging jigsaw puzzle to relax and unwind!

  • Courtney Morresey

    Courtney Morresey

Courtney was born and raised in Taranaki. In 2015 she made the decision to leave the rural life she knew and moved to Auckland, working as an Au Pair before joining Vodafone as an Administrator in 2017, then moving into Vodafone Retail in 2019. In her previous role her focus was the Onboarding/Offboarding process, Payroll and Health + Safety.

Courtney has a love of baking and cooking, spending her weekends making yummy treats. She has a fur-baby (Bengal Cat) named Zorra who lives with her and her partner in East Auckland.

  • Kim Carter-Cannard

    Kim Carter-Cannard

Kim was born and raised in the Waikato, completing all her study, and working life here so far. She always said she was going to move away, but then realised how central Hamilton is to everything she likes to do.

Kim originally completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in economics and public policy, at the University of Waikato, before quickly realising that the lawyer life was not for her! She went back to university and did a post-graduate study in Human Resources as it best capitilised on the work she had done in Employment Law.

She then began her generalist HR career working across the hospitality, gambling, not-for-profit, and manufacturing industries developing experience in recruitment, change management, people data and analytics, and project management. Kim’s knowledge and interest in HR Technology Solutions began while implementing Cornerstone with a previous employer. In 2020 this interest led to her joining Tomorrow's People the first time around. After a brief "sabbatical" to deepen her knowledge of recruitment and gain some generalist knowledge in the manufacturing industry Kim was very excited to re-join the team.

Kim has done multiple HR Tech implementations at different organisations during her time as an HR Generalist, and loves getting to utilise what she learned from being on the customer side of the table to find practical, efficient, and most importantly useful solutions for our Tomorrow's People's clients. Being Waikato based she adds to the remote contingent but is still close-enough to enjoy some in-person time at the Ponsonby office.

Outside of work hours Kim like to get away from the desk and spend time outdoors playing football, spending time with the dogs, camping with her partner, and going to the gym or running with friends (although she’s not quite sure how that became something she classified as a hobby). When she’s feeling less active (or it's cold) she also enjoy grabbing a beer with friends or getting lost in a book.

Dogs of Tomorrow’s People

  • Lando

    Lando

Lando kick started the TP puppy trend during our first Covid lockdown period and has enjoyed his position as leader of the TP puppy pack ever since. His floppy ears and puppy dog eyes have brought joy (and chaos) to the Ward household ever since. His strengths are many but include: sniffing out any food left in handbags under desks, shredding office paperwork, eating shoes and lying on Jane’s keyboard when she’s trying to work. He’s working hard on developing better active listening skills and the patience to sit still for more than 10 seconds at a time. When not disrupting the office, his interests include: food, sleeping, food, long walks on the beach and more food.

  • Mylo

    Mylo

Mylo is a super chilled, fun-loving Golden Retriever and third “child” in Rachel’s family.
He loves swimming in any body of water he finds and usually rolling in mud or sand. His favourite toys are balls, ropes and sticks the bigger the better. Mylo is a great guard dog with a deep growl but always gives it away by his constantly wagging tail. He brings a lot of joy to everyone who meets him and he loves nothing better than a pat and will sit patiently in the hope of a treat.

  • Aria

    Aria

Aria lives in Warkworth with Fiona's family. When she is not having a nap on her personal couch (or her three other customized dog beds), Aria enjoys going on excursions with her Dad through the bush. Aria considers herself to be very skilled at protecting the family home from the treacherous neighbourhood cats although much to the relief of her family her little legs aren't quick enough to actually catch them. Always the centre of attention, she is particularly skilled at getting snacks just for being so darn cute.

  • Min

    Min

Min is a not yet fully grown, (mostly) Vizsla. Boundless energy, boundless love and a very cheeky nature. She has finally (most of the time) learned the command ‘drop’ after she steals any item within reach. She has also learned that she gets a better reaction when she runs away with the item rather than chews it. More than anything she enjoys long wild walks through forest and farm but if she is with her family, she is happy.

  • Bowie & Freddie

    Bowie & Freddie

Bowie joined the Arnold/Howard household in May 2016 and has been a joyous addition. He is an English Springer Spaniel, born in Invercargill and flown up to his home in Auckland.

He is super high energy and loves to spend time outside running in the garden or on one of the local beaches - and adores to jump in the water, clean or not!!

His usual bedtime routine includes zoomies around the garden (with that last bit of energy), finding a sofa to roll around on and then firmly taking himself off to bed, which he may allow his parents to share!!

Currently 4 months old, Freddie is driving his big brother Bowie crazy with his razor blade teeth, but settling into the Howard/Arnold household well and learning lots of new things

  • Franklin & Cheddar

    Franklin & Cheddar

Franklin (a tri-coloured English Setter) and younger brother Cheddar (a tri-coloured Springer Spaniel) are part of the Millington/Bron family. Their likes include spending the day running around on farms with dad, hanging out with friends at doggy day care, paddling in their pool and ‘puppacinos’ on a Sunday morning at their favourite café. Dislikes include being bossed around by their three cat siblings (Lola, Vegas and Boris), having baths, and electric fences.

  • Billie & Percy

    Billie & Percy

Billie is a rescue, so her breed is a little bit uncertain, but she’s registered as a Shepsky (Shepherd x Husky) and is our resident sass-pants.

She’s full of personality, too clever for her own good and definitely got the husky specialities of escaping and “talking” back - which combine to be a great test of mum’s patience. She loves adventuring on pack walks, learning new tricks, being the centre of mum and dad’s attention, annoying Percy, and protecting the lawn from birds.

Percy is the older of our two dogs, and is also a rescue, but we’ve had him DNA tested so we know that he’s (mostly) a Huntaway Greyhound X. He is super tolerant, chilled and would do anything for a treat.

He loves mud and water, regularly making sure he gets covered in both on pack walks. He’s a high energy dog in short bursts so while he loves a good zoomie, he will also nap for the majority of the day (preferably on mum’s feet). His favourite things are tennis balls, swimming holes, learning new tricks (and the treats that come with learning). He’s a definite people-dog and has mastered the art of sitting patiently for pats.

  • Milo

    Milo

Milo is the latest addition to the Atkinson family. Milo is still a puppy and adjusting to his new home. He is absolutely adored by his two small humans Emma-Jayne and Isabella and is enjoying all the attention. Milo loves to chew on everything and keeps busy exploring his new house, including hunting for the girls' toys. He is a loveable and very chilled out boy. Soon enough Milo will be visiting the office to meet the other TP dogs and people.
